The Kingsley Hotel will be hosting a very special event on Thursday, 22nd October, when the chefs from Les Gourmandises restaurant will be running the ‘ Les Gourmandises Cookery Demonstration in aid of Cork Simon’.
Pat Kiely, the award-winning chef of the French dining restaurant Les Gourmandises, will be oversee an appetising and inspiring cookery demonstration in aid of Cork Simon Community at the riverside hotel near UCC.
The demonstration will run for just over two hours before which guests can enjoy an aperitif of wine and light bites. The demonstration itself will comprise simple yet sumptuous dishes from the menu of the award-winning Les Gourmandises restaurant, chosen for their great taste and ease of preparation.
To complete the special evening at the Cork City hotel, there will be an auction and raffle featuring many culinary related prizes. Guests will also take home a booklet featuring the recipes and methods demonstrated.
Awarded ‘Best Chef in Cork’ in 2012 by the Restaurant Association of Ireland, Pat Kiely has overseen the growth of Les Gourmandises restaurant in Cork with his French wife Soizic Kiely for approximately 14 years.
