Thankfully, we have put together a useful guide for your trip to Ireland.

Here, we set out a useful overview of the current rules and regulations, depending on your country of origin, as well as some other useful information and resources*:

Can I travel from the US to Ireland?

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, US passengers may travel to Ireland subject to a few conditions, including a PCR test if passengers are unvaccinated as well as a requirement to quarantine for 14 days.  Passengers who are vaccinated will not require a PCR test or be subject to quarantine. We also advise travellers to check with their airline and accommodation on current government restrictions before travelling to avoid unnecessary delays or disappointment. Many airlines are running at a reduced capacity for example.

Can I travel from the UK to Ireland?

Flights are running from the UK to Ireland, but again at a reduced capacity. Since Brexit, it is important to note that UK travellers must follow the entry rules for Non-EU/EEA travellers. These guidelines will also apply to passengers who travel by ferry.

Rest of the World

Since the 29th July, there has been a General COVID-19 Travel Advisory in place, according to the DFA. However, if you are arriving from a specific designated state, you must complete 14 days quarantine in a hotel. Countries currently on this list can be found here.

All passengers travelling to Ireland must also fill out a Passenger Locator Form before departure. For an up to date list of guidelines, please consult the Irish Government’s website: www.gov.ie
