Following on from the success of the Challenge Series events hosted at Fota Island Resort last year, this spring sees the inaugural Kingsley Challenge Series 10k Road Race taking place on Sunday, 8th May.
The 10km route takes in the iconic Lee Road/ Carrigohane loop which of course surrounds the 4-star hotel in Cork. Widely regarded as one of the flattest runs on the Cork circuit, the road race forms part of the Fota Collection Challenge Series which includes views of the scenic Lee River and finishes back in the welcoming surroundings of The Kingsley Hotel near UCC.
As one of the final training runs prior to the Cork City Marathon in June, it will be an extremely beneficial preparation of anyone planning to take part as it will encompass 2.5km of the final stage of the Cork City Marathon.
