The Kingsley Hotel in Cork rated best 4-star hotel in Cork city and makes top ten in the second annual trivago Irish Hotel Awards.
One of the world’s largest hotel price comparison sites, trivago selected the best hotels and guesthouses in Ireland across a wide range of categories for the first time last year, and this year’s second annual trivago Irish hotel awards have just been announced.
The Kingsley in Cork has been rated as Cork city’s best 4-star hotel, and also makes the overall top ten in the Irish 4-star category.
Just as they aggregate hotel prices, trivago also aggregates guest reviews and ratings for a wide variety of amenities and services for all hotels that display prices on trivago. The reviews are then assigned an overall score by amenity or service category and for this year’s awards, the hotel with the highest score in each awarded category is deemed the category winner. To ensure accuracy, a minimum of 20 reviews were required for award eligibility.
