Network Cork to host business event at The Kingsley

The Kingsley Hotel in Cork will play host to an information evening on Wednesday, 3rd February, between 6 & 8 p.m. organised by Network Cork. The event will focus on the accessibility to financial supports in addition to investment and training opportunities to business owners and employees in Cork.

The highlight of the “one stop shop” information evening will be a Q&A session with a panel of experts from a range of business sectors. For those considering launching or growing their business or career then the information evening will provide attendees with a wealth of business knowledge.

Ahead of the event Network Cork President, Joan Walsh, summed up the growing anticipation among the local business community by stating:

“I have met so many people looking to grow their business or launch a new business idea but who don’t know where to start, so this event will be a great opportunity for Network Cork members and non-members to have access to a panel of experts who will answer all their burning business questions. It’s going to be a great event and one I’m really excited about.”

The panel of experts on the night will include:

  • Adrienne Rodgers – Head of Enterprise from the Local Enterprise Office Cork City;
  • Sarita Johnson – Female Entrepreneurship Manager at Enterprise Ireland; and
  • Orla Remington – private investment expert and Partner at Kernel Capitol.

Special guest and MC on the night will be Cork woman Susan Hayes Culleton, otherwise known as the The Positive Economist.  As the author of three books focusing on business consultancy and innovation including “The Savvy Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom” and having also set up her own training and consultancy company called “Hayes Culleton”, Susan will be ideally placed to oversee proceedings on the night.

There will be an opportunity for guests to chat directly to the experts on the night with a collection of information stands from Enterprise Ireland, the Local Enterprise Office, AIB Bank and the Enterprise Europe Network located throughout the Cork business hotel.

As one of the nost recognisable hotels near Apple and EMC, The Kingsley Hotel is an ideal seeting for budding Cork business owners and entrepreneurs to brainstorm and network.
